How do I disable email notifications?

You can enable or disable email notifications in settings:

Click here to adjust notification settings.
You can also enable / disable your friends notification
if you sent message to your friends, simply adjust your
receiver's notification, here.

Also there is an option to choose some certain events you want to be notified about.
