Work with what you have.

"I tried to frame this jellyfish around the darkness of the tank. I wanted to use the sole spotlight to give the jellyfish a magical glow and focus the viewer's attention to its intricate inner beauty. I then edited it to enhance the brightness and color." #ShotoniPhone by Chee Wah L. @konnicheewah283922443_161271316361352_1189871366740011954_n.jpg

285273045_762092648480291_8536093175495039414_n.jpgCommissioned by Apple. As Told By Us: Honoring Pride's past, present and future through the historic places that started the celebration. Six artists. Six locations. Location #1—Window Rock, Arizona.

"Celebrating Pride to me means living true to yourself, as radiant as possible. Because when you let yourself shine, you allow others to, as well. It's not a phase. It's being recognized for who you are, and we want to stand with you and be seen." #Pride #ShotoniPhone by Evan B. A. @evanbenallyatwood

1. Rapheal Begay, standing with pride at Window Rock, is a photographer and curator for a Navajo Nation LGBTQ2S+ organization. As a Navajo storyteller, he explores and collaborates with community as an artistic practice.

2. Evan Benally Atwood is a queer Diné photographer and filmmaker from Farmington, NM, thoughtfully creating projects to document stories, uplift community, and empower marginalized voices.

3. Ryan Dennison is a multidisciplinary Diné artist and musician from Tohatchi, NM. Their work reflects queer brown love, dreams, intimacy and entanglement while negotiating space in land poems and queer body constellations of intimacy.

4. Rapheal poses with his hair down at Window Rock with a pride flag flying behind him.

5. Charlie Amaya Scott stands strong in Canyon De Chelly at her family farm. She is a Diné (Navajo) scholar born focusing on creating a more just and liberating education that supports and inspires the next generation of queer, trans, and Indigenous students.

6. Ramonda Holiday stands near Monument Valley. Her debut record is up for multiple awards this year.

Commissioned by Apple in celebration of Black History Month. Reflecting on the rich history of Black creatives, Michelin starred chef Mariya Russell (@mariyarussell_) speaks to the importance of telling the stories of the past and present. "It doesn't matter what we're doing. The point is that we, we are wonderful and the world needs to know that we're capable of doing whatever we can see ourselves doing." #ShotoniPhone by Emmanuel Afolabi. @emmanuel.fola8190376939045054872.jpg
